Angelus Student Film Festival announces all-star Festival panel to head Documentary Jury

HBO’s  Director of Documentary Films, Sara Bernstein, Acclaimed editor on HBO projects, Geof Bartz, Emmy nominated documentary filmmaker Doug Block, Michael Kaufman of Al Roker Entertainment., Producer John Priddy (30 Pounds of Love, Academy Awards short list) & Peabody Award Winner Hilla Medalia join panel to judge winning documentaries.

“Amazing news for student documentary filmmakers,” said Monika Moreno, director of Angelus Student Film Festival. “This year, college documentary filmmakers will gain visibility and the opportunity of a lifetime. We are excited and honored to provide this forum for them.”

The Angelus Student Film Festival, one of the country’s top-rated student film festivals, has extended its deadline to July 1st.  The international festival honors young filmmakers as they explore and create works that respect the dignity of the human person. The 2008 festival will be held Saturday, Sept 13 at the Directors Guild of America in Hollywood.
