Angelus alumni films receive multiple Emmy nominations

To Die in Jerusalem, directed by former Angelus winner Hilla Medalia, produced by Angelus sponsor Priddy Brothers and aired on HBO, received three 2008 News and Documentary Emmy nominations: "Best Documentary," "Outstanding Informational Programming - Long Form," and  "Outstanding Individual Achievement in a Craft: Music and Sound."

Also, the work of another former Angelus winner, Christof Putzel, was nominated for two News and Documentary Emmys this year ... Current Conflict: Mogadishu Madness  in the "New Approaches to News & Documentary Programming: Current News Coverage" category and for A Vanguard Special Report: From Russia with Hate in the "New Approaches to News & Documentary Programming: Documentaries" category.
